In May 2023 I guested on the podcast One Book’s Journey with author Joanne Nelson at Write On, Door County.
In January 2023 I was a guest lecturer at Falmouth University’s online BA in creative writing, talking about opportunities for authors to work as ghostwriters.
In October 2022 I had two events at the Mole Valley Arts Alive festival in Surrey. One was a book club discussion of my novel, Ever Rest. The other was a talk about the origins of my novel Lifeform Three, which was inspired by the Surrey Hills, and my travel memoir Not Quite Lost, which has come from absolutely everywhere.
In September 2022 I once again taught a masterclass on back story for fiction, memoir and narrative non-fiction. So far it’s my most popular masterclass yet.

February 2022 – an online class on how to write a book series. At Jane Friedman.
November 2021 – incredibly proud to be invited to open the purpose-built library block at my old school in Cheshire, UK.
In November 2021 I gave a virtual talk to the creative writing MA students at Surrey University, UK, about careers in ghostwriting.
