‘I Love Books’ – 5 stars
I read this over 2 days. I resented having to drag myself away to work, to cook and to eat . It’s 1.30 in the morning and I’ve just finished it which triggered a mix of emotions , I wish there was more to read .
Roz,as she says in the book , is a storyteller , she hooks you in with her first words , sometimes gently sometimes more vigorously but always smoothly you are led on the journey . I related to lots of the story , I’ve seen these houses, I’ve met these estate agents , I’ve felt their pain , frustration and bewilderment and I’ve laughed at the ridiculousness of the process . I love her writing style , it is skilful , witty and soothing .She paints pictures in my mind . I will always look at house prices as parts of the body .
