5 stars, Annalisa Crawford, author, Small Forgotten Moments
This fantastic novel defines the fickle and obsessive nature of the music industry – the fans who feel their favourite artist is singing directly to them, the cloying hangers-on searching for an easy buck, and the hyper-real personalities who mellow and fade when they’re sitting in their own homes.
Roz Morris did an excellent job portraying a past that won’t stay put and the ever-changing nature of the relationships within a group of people forced together in a pain which no one else can quite understand. The tension is palpable and exciting as the conclusion draws near.
