I found myself so engrossed in this book that I would open up the internet and expect news stories about Ashten and Elza, Hugo and Robert. It is all so real and heart-wrenching. Roz takes the story to unfathomable depths and reaches unbelievable heights.
The richness of the characters’ individuality and their internal thought processes, as well as the fact that they kept things from each other and yet from each perspective things shone with their version of correct, simply blew me away. It is written like one long song where every other lyric sparks shivers down your spine.
