I’ve long been impressed with Ms. Morris’ writing: her versatility, her range, her ability to touch the humanity in all her novels. Ever Rest is powerful, and so, so sad. Is there hope? I believe she says Yes, but it won’t be an easy road. It will be as arduous as scaling the heights of Everest. If you haven’t read any of her novels, please, for your sake, give Roz Morris a try. You won’t regret it.
