Despite a busy weekend ferrying my daughters around, I finished this book quickly which does indicate it’s very entertaining.
I learnt about Alderley Edge’s history – I’d only known it for lambos and footballers previously.
The chapter on Grandmother Winnie was also poignant. And there was also mention of the Dragon Warriors game, which takes me back 40 years to teenage me.
Definitely recommended.
